Oh, what a morning! There is something about waking up when the sun is rising. I actually have a very funny morning routine and its all because I just cant seem to get the freaking temperature straight in my house! I go to bed blankets shoved down towards my feet, and I wake up with them practically over my head freezing!
At 5:30am my first alarm goes off. For a good 15 minutes of pressing the snooze button, there is this internal war of whether to fall back asleep or to drag myself to the gym. It happens in literally a nano second though where I shove that little sleeping demon to the back of my thoughts and literally jump and stumble out of bed.
First things first, my sweater! It’s a must in the morning or I end up back under the covers. The rest of my clothes go on, brush my teeth, wash my face, eat a banana and 5 ingredient raisin toast (lol I have no idea the name but its natural), gulp down a glass of water and sometimes some N.O Xplode or iced coffee, and I am out the door!
Today I did:
45 minutes on the treadmill with a range from 8.0-11.0
3 sets of 12 reps- push up plank
2 sets of 15 reps- ball ball abs
3 sets of 8 reps- sitting superman
2 sets of 10 reps- 1 leg vertical with other doing leg lifts
2 sets of 8 reps- brick wall (ahhhhh- killer)
3 sets of 30 second holds- side plank
After 1 ½ hours I headed back home, showered, and I devoured a comforting and hardy breakfast.
