It feels like winter has come and gone in a blink of an eye. The farmers markets are finally open which means there’s an abundance of local fruits and veggies!


I discovered the cutest market in Atlanta, GA, which can be found tucked just behind the lake in Piedmont Park. With jazz bands playing at the entrance, it’s a truly magical market for the trendy hipsters and local city goers alike!




I always go to a market with an empty bag or backpack knowing that I’m bound to leave with both hands full. Without fail, story of my life lol.

My last trip to the farmers market I indulged in all the fresh produce, including these gorgeous strawberries!


I love that strawberries are so versatile as they are perfect for my granola bowls, salads, and dessert! My favorite dessert that duos as an appetizer (enticed yet lol?), is strawberries drizzled with chocolate balsamic and topped with chèvre, pecans, and chopped mint! I know it sounds crazy, but I promise, it will not disappoint!



  • 1 Package Local Organic Strawberries
  • 1 Handful Chopped Mint
  • 2 Tbsp Crumbled Chèvre
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 Cup Chocolate Balsamic (Found at local olive oil stores usually)


Slice the strawberries and spread on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with the balsamic and top with mint, chèvre, & pecans. Enjoy!
