Good Morning…

It was just one of those mornings where I really couldn’t function.  I don’t know why either.  Maybe it was because its gloomy outside or most likely because I stuffed my face last night with two meals? lol.

I did make it to the gym though around 6:45am and hopped on the treadmill.  Five minutes into it I had to face reality, it just reallllllllly wasn’t going to happen this morning.  Not unless there was a miracle.

Frustrated, I semi-pushed through a mini 45 minute workout:

3 sets of 10 reps, front lunges (both sides)

3 sets of 10 reps, side lunges (both sides)

3 sets of 60 reps, boxing front punches (5 lbs weights)

2 sets of 10 reps, standing shoulder press (10 lbs weights)

2 sets of 25 reps, ball- ball abs

2 sets of 10 reps, leg raises on bench (abs)

When I walked out of the gym, the guy working gave me a sideways glance as if to say that’s all you got?  A bit annoyed with myself, I decided to make a not so great morning into a good one.  So I had a crappy workout, big deal.  At least I dragged my lazy self out of bed and actually made it to the gym.  On top of it, it wouldn’t kill me to eat super clean today anyways.  So all was well again in my little world.  In fact, back to amazing. It was still early giving me an hour until I needed to leave. Helloooooooooooooo! I can’t remember the last time I had a full hour to do whatever I wanted in the morning.

I caught up on some reading: Women’s Health Magazine

Sipped on: Starbucks Non-fat Coconut Latte

Scarfed down: Oats, almond butter, honey,skim milk, and banana
